We arrived into the park just before sunset on Monday, July 28 (day 19) after having extended our stay at Zion by a night. We drove in from the east and enjoyed the colors as the sun went down. The scale of the Grand Canyon is immense - nearly a mile down from the rim to the canyon.
The next day we celebrated our anniversary (fourteen years!) exploring the south rim.
